New York International Auto Show features from concept to prototype, classics to present and what’s to come. Whether you enjoy speed, comfort, safety, and even fun there’s something for everyone at this event. Its a great event for the whole family, from test driving with Jeep and Toyota, to 4D rides with Chevrolet. This year Nissan brought their whole fleet of GT-R from the Skyline GT-R to future prototypes and concepts. Check out the photo gallery below and stay tuned for more photos from car shows coming this summer!
A creative twist to a classic treat, orange flavored jello with chocolate syrup. The perfect blend of tangy with sweetness. I’ve had jello in the past with whip cream and even carnation milk (evaporated milk), but this mix was definitely worth a spoonful and much more.
A spicy touch to a classic dish, homemade chili mac and cheese. Adding a little spice to enhance the flavor of this traditional comfort food. Also using mozzarella cheese versus cheddar cheese for added flavor and extra cheesiness!
I was very fortunate to visit the location that started it all, Liberty Avenue and 121 Street. Since they have expanded throughout the Borough of Queens and into Long Island. Everything they serve up is quality, from the rice, chicken, lamb, and falafel. Whether it’s chicken over rice or falafel you crave, they are the go-to people for late night cravings. No matter how popular and how large they get, whether it’s serving from a cart late at night, shopping plaza or mall, their quality of food remains the same, hence preserving their authority and being the go-to brand for some good chicken over rice!
What a great way to kick of spring and see some spectacular views overlooking Manhattan while picnicking with the family at Roosevelt Island Cherry Blossom Festival. Spring isn’t officially here until the Cherry Blossom’s start blooming and providing picturesque scenery.
It’s also a great excuse to ride the Roosevelt Island Tramway while visiting the island. You can even use your MTA Metro Card! The tram connects Roosevelt Island to the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and its the ideal choice to avoid the chaos of long and congested lines on the E train subway line at the Roosevelt Island stop.
