A great twist on a favorite, Taco Tuesday! Pulled chicken versus pulled pork for those not eating pork. Also spicing it up for the foodie fans that love everything hot to the touch. Chicken tacos are an excellent addition to Taco Tuesday! Look out for more creative approaches in the kitchen.
I was very fortunate to visit the location that started it all, Liberty Avenue and 121 Street. Since they have expanded throughout the Borough of Queens and into Long Island. Everything they serve up is quality, from the rice, chicken, lamb, and falafel. Whether it’s chicken over rice or falafel you crave, they are the go-to people for late night cravings. No matter how popular and how large they get, whether it’s serving from a cart late at night, shopping plaza or mall, their quality of food remains the same, hence preserving their authority and being the go-to brand for some good chicken over rice!
Home of the 99 cent pizza in the heart Astoria (NY), 3 Brother’s Pizza. But the deals don’t stop there, they also have great combos on chicken sandwiches, as well as fish sandwiches. The service is timely as well. Definitely worth a stop when on the late night pizza cravings run!
Located in the heart of Austin Street, right off of Queens Boulevard, OBA. Fresh ingredients made to cook and definitely tasty to eat. They will make your lamb or chicken any way you like it. They even have fresh salad, bread, and lovely Mediterranean sauces to dip. The staff is also friendly and very accommodating.
I would note that the restaurant is located at a corner with glass walls, so you may want to avoid sitting near the doorway on cold and chilly days, but otherwise, the food will definitely warm up your soul.
Mia Halal is a great choice for the late night cravings, whether its falafel or chicken over rice. The options are great (chicken, lamb, falafel, etc.), and so is the portions. Food is cooked to perfection in just a matter of minutes while you wait.
