A creative twist to a classic treat, orange flavored jello with chocolate syrup. The perfect blend of tangy with sweetness. I’ve had jello in the past with whip cream and even carnation milk (evaporated milk), but this mix was definitely worth a spoonful and much more.
Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or on a date, Martha’s Country Bakery is an excellent choice. Don’t forget to RSVP on Yelp otherwise, the wait could be a few minutes and out the door.
They offer a wide assortment of cakes, pastries, chocolate, ice cream, and fruit-themed goodies. They even have the tasty drinks to go along with whatever your sweet tooth desires. Its a nice cozy atmosphere with dim lights, but maybe a bit noisy and limited on space at times. I would definitely utilize Google Maps to assess what are the non-busy hours to have a fully enjoyable experience.
As soon as you walk through the door you’re greeted with chocolate. Many of which you can try before you buy. The expo located at Cradle of Aviation Museum, Garden City, Long Island, NY (Long Island’s Air and Space Museum) features some upscale chocolate, unique mixture, and household favorites like Girls Scout Cookies. It’s definitely worth the experience if not the networking opportunity to meet and greet fellow chocolate entrepreneurs. Everything chocolate, everything tasty!
After The Chocolate Expo we ventured to Roosevelt Field Shopping Center where we came across the sleek and sporty Jaguar and luxurious Land Rover with eye-catching aggressive rims.
My wife decided to surprise me with my favorite, chocolate chip pancakes made from scratch with crispy turkey bacon and eggs. I just love the taste of melted chocolate on pancakes with lots of maple syrup. It’s the small things or rather gestures that people do which puts a big smile on my face. Waking up to a delicious meal not only brightens the day but also warms the heart, letting you know that your significant other cares for you and pays attention to the little details in life, such as one of your favorite meals for breakfast.
By the way, German chocolate with its richness is an excellent ingredient for chocolate chip pancakes.
