I was enticed by the free pizza offer and decided to take a tour of co-living or rather shared housing. Ever wanted to live in the trendiest spots in the city or just hate the chores that come along with living away from your parents, like cleaning and laundry? Common features modern living in some of the hottest spots in the city, definitely worth it for the hipsters. They take the chores out of living independently away from your parents. The bonus is your not alone, but unlike college where you have homework and exams, you get to live with an interesting bunch of folks. Who knows, from your yoga buddies to your next startup co-founder. They have tons of activities within their facilities. Common also has shared housing for couples as well, the bonus is that you get your own personal bathroom if you’re a couple. The party doesn’t have to stop after college, you can still room with some hip and inspiring roommates with Common.
Home of the 99 cent pizza in the heart Astoria (NY), 3 Brother’s Pizza. But the deals don’t stop there, they also have great combos on chicken sandwiches, as well as fish sandwiches. The service is timely as well. Definitely worth a stop when on the late night pizza cravings run!
One of my favorite local Italian restaurants is Pizza Classica. Serving up mouthwatering Italian dishes, like baked ziti, pasta, pizza, chicken marsala and so much more. Everything is under a delightful ambiance with cleanliness from the kitchen to the bathroom. There is even ample parking in their parking lot.
I’ve known about Indian pizza for a while, but just haven’t found the opportunity to try it, or even knew where to get it? Chicago’s Pizza With A Twist is the only branch of this franchise in New York, and truly a great find at the corner of Lefferts Boulevard on Atlantic Avenue, in the heart of the South Asian community. The flavorful combinations like chicken tikka masala truly provides a twist on a household favorite. The Indian spices will have you craving more. Let’s not forget about the wings because an order of pizza isn’t complete without a side of wings.
